The Center for Middle East, Eurasia and Asia Pacific Studies (ODAP) aims to strengthen interdisciplinary interaction by increasing communication and cooperation between researchers from different disciplines, as well as contributing to the national and international literature on issues related to its field of activity. It is based on the dissemination of the culture of debate in academic circles, the media and the public. ODAP has all kinds of supportive missions such as sharing information with every institution of the state within the framework of Turkey’s national interests and meeting the need for constructive criticism and analysis.
As a think – thank platform, ODAP does not only aim at research activities. It is also working hard to train young academics and bring them into the academic community. Another aim is to train and support young people who have career goals in public institutions and organizations on their goals. It was established as a multi-layered structure where many academics from different cultures work together and young academics gain experience as researchers.
Our institution, which combines sustainable, continuous and effective research methods with its strong academic team, shapes its future vision on these principles. As a research organization, ODAP organizes academic congresses, academic journals, seminars, analysis articles, e-panels (Webinar), panels, e-journals and many other activities.
