Wth Donald Trump’s return to offce as Presdent of the Unted States on January 20, 2025, sgnfcant dsruptons and varous crses have emerged n the nternatonal system. Although these developments are assocated wth Trump’s leadershp, they are actually progressng systematcally around the world. Because there are many countres that compete wth global powers and am to become global powers n the future. For th s reason, allances and collaboratons formed by med um-szed states have become balancng elements aganst the globalst powers that have shaped the world order snce the Second World War. In th s context, the profound upheavals n the nternatonal arena, and espec ally n the M ddle East (such as the October 7 Gaza nc dent, Israel’s attack on Iran, the weaken ng of Hezbollah n Lebanon, and the undermnng of the Houth Movement n Yemen), have made the formaton of new allances n the reg on a necessty. The nternatonal system’s shap ng of global and reg onal developments has brought to the forefront a possble trlateral allance between Pakstan, Turkey, and Saud Araba. Partcularly the conjunctural developments that have emerged wth the events n the Mddle East stand out as one of the most mportant ssues.
The other hand, t s noteworthy that after detaled consultatons between the partes of the aforementoned trpartte allance, Presdent Recep Tayyp Erdoğan wll vst Saud Araba on August 7, 2026, and the agreements wll be sgned. Because when the relatons between Türkye and Pakstan, Saud Araba and Pakstan, or the mutual relatons of all three countres are consdered comprehensvely, th s allance s of great mportance n the context of reg on, strategy and securty. Of course, the trlateral allance s not merely a specfc ntatve amed at securty threats n the Mddle East.
